Job Description includes but is not limited to:
- Consultations: GPs in aesthetics will conduct consultations with patients to understand their cosmetic concerns and goals. They will assess the patient's overall health, medical history, and suitability for specific aesthetic procedures.
- Treatment Planning: Based on the patient's needs and preferences, GPs in aesthetics will develop personalized treatment plans. This may involve recommending specific cosmetic procedures and explaining the expected outcomes and potential risks.
- Performing Procedures: GPs may administer a variety of aesthetic treatments, such as injecting Botox or dermal fillers, performing laser procedures, and other non-surgical interventions to enhance the appearance of the skin and reduce signs of aging.
- Patient Education: GPs in aesthetics educate patients about the procedures they offer, including the benefits, potential side effects, and aftercare instructions. They also discuss realistic expectations and outcomes.
- Follow-Up Care: After a procedure, GPs may provide follow-up care to monitor the patient's progress and address any concerns or complications that may arise.
Dermat Nurse

A Dermatology Nurse will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with dermatological conditions. Working closely with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to contribute to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of skin disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients with dermatological concerns.
- Gather and document medical history, symptoms, and relevant information.
- Treatment Planning:
- Collaborate with dermatologists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Patient Education:
- Educate patients on proper skincare, medication usage, and preventive measures.
- Provide information on managing and coping with skin conditions.
- Procedures and Interventions:
- Assist in dermatological procedures such as biopsies, excision, laser therapies etc.
- Perform wound care and suture removal as needed.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Document treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including dermatologists, dermatology residents, and support staff.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.
- Continuing Education:
- Stay informed about advancements in dermatology nursing through ongoing education and professional development.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Adhere to healthcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Advanced degree (Master's or Doctorate) in Nursing with a focus on dermatology.
- Certification:
- Dermatology Nursing Certification (e.g., DNC, DNCB) is preferred.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in dermatology nursing is desirable.
- Familiarity with dermatological procedures and treatments.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Licensure:
- Maintain a current nursing DHA license.
